Enjoy in the Dubrovnik Best Restaurants (Broni Kold)

The following are five of the all time best restaurants in the city of Dubrovnik, there's no real order because they are all equally as good as one another.

Villa Ruza Restaurant: Kolocep:

The traditional Dalmatian restaurant has been open since the year 1930 and is currently premiered by a young chef that cut his teeth working alongside Michelin stared chefs and on the exclusive Mediterranean yacht trips.

Villa Ruza also takes the prides in itself on the way it sources its ingredients. All of its fish are the fresh and sourced daily from a local fisherman, with its fruit and veg plucked from the local farms, enhanced by the spices and herbs selected from its own gardens.

The gourmet Dubrovnik restaurant will even offer the traditional dish of 'Peka' (lamb and vegetables slow cooked under a bell) but be sure to book your table and book a couple of the days in advance as it takes this long to prepare!

Restaurant Amfora: Dubrovnik:

This exceptional restaurant has an extensive seafood menu that is sourced locally with great care. With everything from the Sea Bream to Lobster, it is home to one of the most extensive wine selections of any restaurant in the city of Dubrovnik. All the waiters have the most comprehensive knowledge of each choice of wine available together with what's on the daily menu to really add that special touch to the dining experience. The food style is Dalamatian, with a modern twist and the competitive prices start from a very reasonable 10 Euros for a main course.

Kasar Restaurant in Zaton:

Serving a very traditional seafood menu, this beautifully presented restaurant in the city of Dubrovnik benefits from the waterfront dining that allows the guests to soak up the beautiful riverside surroundings. With a large menu that includes various delicious meat and also vegetarian dishes as well as seafood, restaurant Kasar is one of the hidden gems of the Dubrovnik region that is a must visit for any food lover. The prices are premium, but expect above premium quality for you euros.

D'vino Wine Bar and Restaurant: Dubrovnik:

This particularly uniquely styled bar offers the opportunity of wine tasting for the seated guests, with a full presentation from the staff in line with where wine is being sourced, how it is made and what the food goes well with it. Unlike the other restaurants on this list, D'vino does not have a traditional menu, rather a tapas style selection of food that has earned it the title of 'best restaurant in Dubrovnik' by many of its patrons.

Dishes include:

* Traditional cheese boards and platters

* Anti-pasta platters

* A selection of deli-style meats.

Nishta Restaurant: Dubrovnik:

Nishta is probably the best vegetarian restaurant in the whole of Croatia. Owned by a Croatian and the Swiss couple, you are greeted by very warm, friendly staff on arrival and taken to your seat.

Some argue that the specific problem with the vegetarian food is that there isn't enough range of it on the menu. Nishta has one of the largest selections of the vegetarian food any patron is likely to see in a particular restaurant. There is everything from soup, gourmet a la carte style starters, and a considerable help-yourself salad bar just to begin with. The main menu is particularly broken down into various sections that are easy to read and understand, and if there is nothing on the menu that you would like to change or add.
